Chair of IEEE Photonics Society Orlando Section

·       Hosted CREOL Open House Event during IEEE Photonics Conference 2017. By organizing lab tours, student poster exhibitions and social hours, we introduced CREOL research to 100+ professionals in photonics and enhanced potential partnerships.

·       Hosted the 1st IEEE Optics & Photonics Demo Design Competition. By encouraging and technical/financial supporting college students, two demonstrations were realized from proposal stage and to be used in outreach programs such as Optics Day and STEM Day.

·       Organized three technical seminars in IEEE Photonics Society Distinguished Lecture series.

·       Stepped up as IEEE Photonics Society Young Professional represent and enhanced communications between different IEEE societies.
